The Clearinghouse provides information about food resources in communities, including summer meals for children 18 years and younger in low-income communities. The USDA National Hunger Clearinghouse (NHC) is an important tool to combat hunger and promote economic mobility. This is a database of non-governmental, grassroots organizations that provide food assistance. These organizations enter their information into the Clearinghouse database, which is available to the public.
